Scuba Specialties & Specialty Diver
The Specialty Diver rating recognizes divers who have completed two specialty courses and completed and logged a minimum of twelve open water dives. Specialties are offered in many exciting areas of diving. Here are some of the specialty courses available:

The Advanced Diver program provides divers with the opportunity to gain additional diving experience, update diving skills, and become safer, more competent divers. Stress & Rescue Diver
Improve you diving confidence, enjoyment, and safety with the Scuba Schools International (SSI) Stress & Rescue Diver course. Learn to recognize situations that lead to problems, prevent accidents, and handle stressful situations when they arise. You will become a superior diver and buddy.
Requirements:

Be at least 14 years old

Have completed and logged 12 open water dives

Have dive experience within the past 12 months
-
Complete the home-study academic portion of the training, including the study guide questions

Complete and sign a confidential medial questionnaire. If certain medical conditions exists, you must have a signature from a physician prior to participating in this course.

Master Diver
The Master Diver rating is one of Scuba Schools International's (SSI) most prestigious ratings. When you carry this this card, you carry the pride and experience that does with it. A Master Diver must successfully complete four specialties and the Stress & Rescue course, and have completed and logged 50 or more dives.
